daily chic.

we checked out the tin roof in uptown charlotte last night. it's located in the epicenter.

it felt like it was in the negatives as far as weather felt! thank the lord for lee's huge winter north face. the only part of me that was cold were my legs because that thing was like a sauna.

tin roof probably has been open for a few months, but it's such a sweet spot for live music. the band played copperhead road, which probably explains why my feet are killing me today from my ankle boots. oh, and there's no cover charge! blew my mind for a bar in the epicenter.

the bar was still decorated for christmas (or maybe that's just their normal decor) with big bulbed colored lights throughout the bar. 

oh and they served their wine in plastic cups. interesting.

i recently came across this new website - daily chic. i literally buy almost everything that comes through vestique's  store (ps i just got this studded sweater from there & love it), so i decided to switch it up and try a new boutique.

i liked the clothes! they were having an end of year 20% off sale, so i said why not? 

i got the leather leggings which i'm currently obsessed with. why didn't i buy these sooner?? so comfortable, but are snug in the right places. you're guaranteed to feel a little snazzy.

i also grabbed this lace sheer top in olive - the back is almost completely open with a high bow halfway through your back. i will admit the color online is slightly off. it looks more gray-ish, but the true color is an off green. 

i paired them together with those black ankle boots & an orange/gray necklace from vestique.  

i would wear these things out every time i go out if i could...... ok i actually might. 
can't wait to shop there again soon.

for now, i'm sitting on the couch with a beer watching this guy yell at the tv for green bay packers vs 49s. we hope they win because 1. lee's sanity & 2. that means they come to charlotte for the playoff game! which we would have to attend. 

don't worry, i would still pull for my panthers!!
