man, i sure do hope these things never go out of style. mainly because of the money i have spent on them! i have to admit though, i am obsessed. i probably have a necklace in every color; some in the same color. 
they really can add a lot to an outfit. i'm also really strange in that i do not like my necklaces to specifically match other parts of my outfit. lee thinks i am so weird for this. a coral top & a mint necklace with white jeans? yes. am i the only one who thinks this way? 
i think the most i have spent on one of these is $50. and to me, that was a little outrageous for a fashion necklace. i have bought a lot of mine at vestique, francescas, anthropologie and even forever 21. forever 21 is actually the jackpot for inexpensive jewelry. but, as you would think - the quality isn't there. hey, life's a gamble sometimes.

yes, that last one clearly is a joke. i am no bone thugs & harmony. are they even still around? why i thought that was a good idea at a wedding is beyond me. and in case you're wondering, i pulled that out of a prop basket for the photo op. i am not that tacky. or flava flav.
and here i am rocking statement necklaces since four years old. fashion does repeat itself! just look at those pearls.
