before we get into the actual reason of why i love this look, let's just take a second and talk about the location of this. see that brick wall? super rustic right? the contrast of the red & blue just caught my eye in some kind of way that even the weirdness of the location couldn't change.
over the weekend, we had to make a quick pit stop by the liquor store to make a few cocktails to sip on while we hung out friday night. there wasn't one near where we were headed, so we decided to check out the closest sto' in the ghetto off of graham street in charlotte. so yes, thank you to the sketchy location that made this post possible.
also, thank you to the old man with four teeth who walked out & exclaimed ooooooo a photoshoot? and laughed hysterically. awkward.
i have been loving some chambray. you can either dress it up or dress it down or do a happy medium & keep one side tucked & the other untucked. quirky right? i love me some quirky. it's a completely different way to style the top.
sidenote: people will give you funny looks for this and other people will like it. one girl seriously looked at me and said oh girl, i love the little "tucky" thing you have going on. that's look is gonna be all over pinterest! i thought that was cute. people who were giving me the funky looks didn't say a word. it's a good thing because i would've slapped them with my flap & kept walking. it's my flap; i'll do what i want!
i've already expressed my love for j. crew factory shorts so i won't drive that deeper into your brain & no, {unfortunately} they don't pay me to say that. but those suckers fit so well! i'm going to be super bummed when fall hits & shorts aren't considered appropriate for 50 degree weather. shorts + tights + boots, anyone? and yes, those are the kendra scott earrings. i need more. someone do a giveaway with those because i will follow every single social media outlet to win some.
