since booking our photographer like 4 hours after we got engaged {i'm kidding, i'm not that crazy, but it still was after like a week and a half}, i have been eagerly awaiting engagement pictures.
disclaimer: i am a picture whore.

but, also i'm nervous. i know what i don't want, but don't know what i do. lee says i'm really good at that like when he mentions potential dinner ideas and i'm like no, ew. and he asks what i want and i say 'i don't know; think of something.' or when he askes what i want to do when i'm bored and i still don't know, but i know i definitely do not want to watch the walking dead or whatever god awful scary show he has going on.
sorry to y'all walking dead fans. nothing agains it; zombies and blood and stuff just aren't my thing.
so here we are, back at square one with engagement pictures. my biggest fear thus far in the wedding planning is that we will look straight out of pinterest. luckily my photographer says he likes to view pinterest for inspiration, but hates the cookie cutter, everybody has the same pose photo shoots. thank god.
mainly i want ours to look genuine & not completely staged as i know sometimes pictures tend to be. and the outfits. my gracious, don't get me started. so that's why i'm coming to you. what are your favorite engagement looks?
here are a few looks i'm loving:

so to sum it up: i like the idea of a car. lee's father built a 19old-something navy blue hudson hornet from the ground up, which will also serve as our "getaway car," so i would love to incorporate that into our pictures.
i love the "candid" looks and i do also know that the smiling at the camera ones i will cherish as well. so far our pictures are scheduled for october 22nd!
