cowl neck coolness.

cowl neck scarves are pretty much following the blanket scarf take over of the world this year. and the more chunky the better.
i'm pretty sure that's the only time that sentence has ever been used positively. 
anyway, i found an etsy shop that has the most clever name ever. the lovely dominque from domiknit creations makes hand made scarves, hats, cardigans, headwraps - you name it. i just wanted to give her a high five for being a marketing genius for coming up with that name playing off her own! 
i'm in love with the colors of this scarf i have on. it's thick, and the colors are gorgeous. it can brighten up a casual white tee or pattern match with a floral. this super cute bow headwrap is just darlin'! 
i realize i sound like a country bumpkin using the word "darlin'" to describe something, but have a look for yourself. check out their instagram to see a whole lot more pieces you can style and stand in front of your christmas tree for photo opportunities like i did. the holidays are coming fast and these pieces would make perfect stocking stuffers or a secret santa gift! 
today, we're overdosing in football with the new 60 inch we finally mounted over the fireplace. i just now need to find decor for these built in bookshelves. that lone poinsettia just isn't gonna cut it. thoughts?
